Privacy Policy
This site collects as little as possible: there are no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no cookies. The only personal data I receive is what you choose to send me through the contact form, WhatsApp, or email.

Who is responsible for your data
Shlomi Aflalo, Full Stack Developer, working from Lisbon, Portugal. I am the controller for the data described on this page, and I am the only person who reads it.

What I collect, and why
The contact form on this site asks for four things: your name, your email address, the type of project and budget range you select, and your message. Nothing else is requested and nothing is inferred.
I use it for one purpose: to answer you and, if we go ahead, to prepare a quote. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. If you write to me by email or WhatsApp instead, the same applies to whatever you send.
I do not send newsletters, I do not run marketing campaigns, and I do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone for their own purposes.
Who else processes it
- Formspree, Inc. (United States) delivers the contact form to my inbox. Your submission passes through their systems, which means it is transferred outside the European Economic Area. Formspree acts as a processor on my instructions under Standard Contractual Clauses. If you would rather avoid that transfer entirely, email or WhatsApp me instead — those reach me without Formspree.
- My hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. I do not use those logs to build any profile of you.
How long it is kept
If your enquiry does not lead to work, I delete it within twelve months. If it does, I keep the correspondence for as long as the project runs and afterwards for the retention period tax law requires for business records. You can ask me to delete it sooner at any point.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker of any kind. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page does not tell any other company that you visited. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to give you a copy of the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what I do with it, hand it over in a portable format, or object to my processing it. Write to shlomiaflalo88@gmail.com and I will respond within thirty days. There is no form to fill in and no charge.
If you think I have handled your data badly and we cannot resolve it between us, you can complain to your data protection authority; for clients in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes to this page
If what I collect or who processes it changes, I will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no version history to dig through — the page always describes what is true now.
