What website design includes
Design here does not mean picking a theme and changing the colours. It means deciding what each page has to make a visitor do, then building the layout, typography and hierarchy around that decision. You see the design before anything is coded:
- Structure first. Which pages exist, what each one is for, and what the visitor does next on every single one.
- Layout and hierarchy. The offer, the proof and the call to action land in that order, on a phone as well as a laptop.
- A real design, not a template. Typography, spacing and colour chosen for your business — so your site does not look like your competitor's with a different logo.
- Approved before code. You sign off on the design; only then does anything get built. Changing a layout is cheap, rebuilding a finished site is not.
