The most expensive mistakes in software happen before the first line of code — building the wrong thing. Wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes let you test the idea, show investors, and brief developers with zero ambiguity.
Design is included in every build package, from €1,400. Standalone design engagements — wireframes, mockups, a clickable prototype — are quoted per project with a fixed price within 48 hours. See the packages.
Wireframes — the skeleton of every screen and the flow between them, fast and cheap to iterate.
High-fidelity mockups — pixel-level designs of your website or mobile app: colors, typography, real content, every state.
Clickable prototypes — a version you can tap through on your phone and put in front of real users before spending on development.
Developer-ready handoff — specs, assets, and component structure a dev team can implement without guessing.
Why a developer-designer is different
Plenty of designers make beautiful screens that are painful or impossible to build as designed. Because I also write production code, every screen I design is buildable, performant, and honest about edge cases — loading states, errors, empty lists, long names, small phones. You won't discover in month three that the design needs to be redone.
Perfect for
Founders validating an app idea before hiring a dev team
Businesses redesigning a dated website and wanting to see it first
Teams that need overflow design capacity with fast turnaround
Frequently asked questions
Can I hire you for design only, without the build?
Yes — design-only is a normal engagement, and nothing obliges you to have me build it afterwards. You get the wireframes, mockups and clickable prototype; you do not get code, hosting or written content, because those belong to the build phase. Describe the screens you have in mind and you'll have a fixed quote within 48 hours.
What files do I receive, and could another developer build from them?
You receive the editable design source files, exported assets, and a spec covering spacing, type, colors and every component state — all of it yours to keep. That package is deliberately complete enough for a competent front-end developer to build from without ever contacting me. A design only its author can implement is lock-in, not a deliverable.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
The number of rounds is fixed in your quote before work starts, so it never becomes an argument halfway through. Most changes naturally land at the wireframe stage, which is exactly where you want them: reshaping a wireframe takes an hour, reshaping a screen that has already been built takes days. Anything beyond the agreed rounds is quoted separately.
How does design cost relate to the cost of building the product?
Design costs meaningfully less than the build, because drawing a screen is far less work than making it function. It is also a natural stopping point: approve the mockups, then decide whether to build now, later, or with a different team. Either way the price is fixed up front rather than metered by the hour.
